Overall None better than this! My husband and I broke down on Hwy 50 in our Dodge Diesel pick-up truck while pulling a 30′ 5th wheel trailer. We were about minutes from Gunnison Colorado on a two lane highway with gentle hills and curves and were barely able to get our rig out of the travel lane as the engine sputtered out it’s last bit of life. A state trooper stopped to help signal oncoming traffic of our precarious situation. Our Triple Cross tow driver arrived very quickly and with great care and competence hooked us up and towed us into Gunnison.
After dropping the truck and trailer at the repair center, the trailer was disconnected and the truck pushed into a repair stall leaving our trailer still sitting in the parking lot. The driver then went home, picked up his personal truck with a 5th wheel hitch, came back to the dealership and towed our trailer to the KOA campground where we could hook up and hang out while the truck was being repaired.
The care and concern he showed us was old-fashioned in a wonderful way and my husband and I will never forget his helpful attitude and going ‘above and beyond’ to help out a traveler a long way from home.

SA Realtors say the value of wine grape vineyards in South Australia’s Riverland has tripled in the last few years as Australia continues to rapidly export product into China. Riverland vineyard consultant, Ashley Ratcliff, said the remarkable turnaround has boosted farmer confidence. Vineyard consultant Ashley Ratcliff says foreign investors are bypassing prominent wine regions in South Australia for the Riverland. Ricca Terra Farms Mr Strachan said the growth in Asia for Australian wine has helped find a home for large volumes of product.
But it is not just China driving the industry’s investment. Mr Ratcliff said buyers from the UK are also choosing to invest in the region. Teamed with a glut of grape supply, Mr Ratcliff said the drought was enough to push struggling growers to exit the industry. Real estate agents have noticed an increase in foreign investment in South Australia’s Riverland. One hosted event is the National Student Rodeo , the largest freestyle kayaking event in the world. Location[ edit ] The whitewater course is located between the weir on the canalised River Trent and the regatta lake. Construction[ edit ] Built in , the course is made primarily from concrete. It is approximately metres long, drops just over 4 metres in height to produce Grade 3 whitewater rapids.
The course is gravity fed, does not use electricity to power it, and therefore is relatively cheap to run. Due to the nature of the design, swimming through the course is safer than many other locations around the UK due to deep channels and few significant underwater obstructions. The amount of water flowing through the course depends on rainfall, and canal usage, but due to the large catchment of the Trent, flows between 16 and 25 cubic metres per second are common.
The course is more likely to close due to too much water in the winter , rather than too little. The course had a refit in Along with essential maintenance, some of the original concrete obstacles were removed and Omniflots large plastic movable blocks were added. The Holme Pierrepont Canoe Club gives lessons on the flat water lake and the course, which is also used for water safety and water rescue training.
It also hosts rafting , playboating , slalom ; kayaking plus squirt boaters , open boat canoeists and wild water racing. One of the main sports held at the centre is rowing , using the metre multi-lane rowing lake. Typically the safety is outsourced to local lifeguard unit Colwick Park Lifeguards who have been part of the team at Holme Pierrepont since
The 44 per cent reduction in the price retailers are recommended to pay NSW solar households for their rooftop PV exports — it serves only to guide retailers, and is entirely voluntary — was first flagged by IPART in March. And in an update published in May, IPART justified the proposed tariff cut by reasoning that wholesale electricity prices were forecast to fall in the coming financial year, partly because of the impact of rooftop solar, and so solar payments should, too.
But typically, it does not calculate the benefits that increased solar cold have on lowering prices. In fact IPART disagrees with that notion, instead taking the line that solar exports are not likely to provide system-wide net benefits for networks, and in some cases — on some parts of the grid — were more likely to do the opposite.
